    While looking for background infos on DemonWare hosted games I stumbled across the work of a guy called Luigi Auriemma. Seems the DeomnWare stuff was some sidework and he has more extensively been digging into the gamespy protocol.     I am still fiddling about with Goldeneye and have been looking into it's friendcodes as well. And I haven't yet been able to figure out how that game does it. If I just take the lowest 4 bytes of the FC I get a PlayerID in the 319 millions area. That's simply not possible for a Profile created in the last week before the shutdown.     Did noone else have trouble running the batch file? For me it failed with the following message: Quellcode (3 Zeilen) That's for the folder from the ZIP file with just one ISO added to it. Is wit actually supposed to find all relevant files if a . is used as pointer to the current dir? Maybe it's because I am running Windows in a VM and tried to run it on a network drive. Anyway, I changed the batch file to this to make it work with ISO and WBFS files in my setup. Maybe that's helpful for others…

    As soon as I have the time I'll give it a go with the Conduit series. Is DLS1 answering correctly so it doesn't get stuck there? Maybe I am just desperate and clutching at straws: But if we get real lucky, DemonWare aren't taking down their servers immediately. Goldeneye for example has been ported to PS3 too, so they do need some servers for that.     I have been HEX editing my way through savegames before, so what exactly am I looking for? Something calculated from a HEX representation of the FC and the Game-ID? I think I have been stumbling across it before it some other thread but can't find it right now. I could probably look into Goldeneye, Conduit and CoD savegames.
