Okay it looks like trying to connect to each other causes the host's game to crash. Hopefully this is just a cross-region issue, but it doesn't bode well.

While we are making positive progress we aren't out of the woods yet. We still need to try to connect to each other.

Hello guys, I've gotten the first Endless Ocean (NTSC, PAL, JP) approved for testing on Wiimmfi. If you'd like to help out with it feel free to do so in this thread. I'm running the NTSC version and my friend code is 5203-6888-9081.
