Is it just me or has it become very difficult to stay or get connected to the server lately? I noticed on the ban list that a lot more people are getting kicked for Natneg being stuck or locked. I think that happened to me last month and lately it has gotten worse.

A few people have suggested a way to report Mii nicknames - I know moderators can mark bad names when bans are issued, and it'd be nice to see an autokick, if anything, to ban those invalid names, and also send a PR error - after all, quite a few games do use PR, and it'd be nice to make it work with a proper NG list. I know you previously argued that many names will just be slightly changed, but since our mods mark so many bad names already, it'd be a good idea to potentially implement it. @Wiimm

A lot of moderators have been marking the bad words; plus, as previously mentioned, a user report system would be nice to have.

Hi, I've recently been having issues with loading CTGP with Wiimmfi enabled yesterday and I can't seem to find the root of the problem. My internet is fine, but when I boot up CTGP and press Launch, it stalls for a while and says "Could Not Verify". I tried hitting Updates and it stalls on "Initialising network", and when I load the Ghost Database, it stalls there too. Any ideas as to why this might be happening? Someone in Bean's discord said it could be a firewall issue, but wiimmfi.de loads just fine, so it's probably not that.
I hope I can get this resolved soon, since I run a clan that actively plays MKWii online, and it would be a shame to have this end my 7 years of playing this game.

That sounds more like a problem with your internet connection than with Wiimmfi. Verifying CTGP boot and the ghost database both use CTGP servers, not Wiimmfi.
Did you try deleting and re-configuring your internet connection from the Wii settings? Can you connect to the Internet using other Homebrew?DevkitPro Archiv (alte Versionen / old versions): wii.leseratte10.de/devkitPro/

I tried loading through the Wiimmfi patcher, and it booted up fine, but when I tried connecting to Wiimmfi, it gave me EC 51330. I also tried to re-enter the settings into the Wii U that I use, and it gave me a successful connection. However, the issues I had still persist.

Is your internet security type WPA2-PSK (TKIP)? The Wii U supports this but the vWii does not. en-americas-support.nintendo.c…rs/detail/a_id/1666/p/431

It is WPA2-PSK (AES). I did manage to play online a few times with this internet before it started to give me problems yesterday, and it says its compatible.

Hey Everyone, I am very new at using the homebrew app. I wanted ask if it is possible to host a local tournament using the Wiimmfi online play. If I have multiple Wii consoles with Mario kart would I be able to connect everyone into one lobby? Will the connection good enough to prevent lag? I currently have 6 Wiis and really want to host a big tournament for my friends.

If all Wiis are in the same local network, gameplay traffic will not go over the internet. Just make sure to connect ay many of the consoles as possible using a LAN connection, and that will work without problems.

Still having issues with this internet thing. I tried resetting my router several times, and re-entered the connection details quite a few times as well. The Wii U is telling me its compatible with Wii software, but it is just not allowing me to connect to Wiimmfi for whatever reason.

ctgp also has a LAN Feature without the need of connecting to wiimmfi.

it all depends on how good your wifi router is and how good your internet is as well and how many devices are connected to the wifi router

Hello, please I would like to know why when I try to connect in WIFI to the game "Guitar Hero III: Legends Of Rock" and after writing my name comes written "approval name in progress" but then comes out written "the server is no longer available"
why? I patched the game with "wiimmfi-patcher-v3"
so it's not my problem?

guitar hero 3 is being tested right now and doesnt work at all and they recently made a new version of the wiimmfi patcher version 4 and also i read that people play guitar hero 3 online more on the 360 than the ps3 which is the version i have.

no not at the moment theyve been testing it for years and i looked at the aomunt o people that have been going on it and theyre just testers which is weird that the game isnt online yet
