Systemmenu patch for first connection

I doubt if the connection test would be failed after May 20th since WFC pay&play games and Wii Shop Channel are all online.
Plus, priiloader has a force connection test fail option, I'll check if that prevents me from connecting to WFC.

That was everything i found. There were some lz7 and bsars filse i couldn't extract but bsars was sound.
I didn't looked into the .ash there only should be grafiks.

But good job, now we know which file is requested on the amw.wc24.wii.com Server. Could you also try to find out which parameters are sent? Vor instruct me how you found these strings? Then i'll look at it and try to patch the https out.

I used my fritzbox and sniffed Internet. Bur there were only a few wii packets with IP 192.168.2.105
And there was Not a Single Domain! So maybe it isn't using an connection??

@Ciapa take the sysmenü.wad and unpack it. when used the nusd its the 9b.app and in other unpackers it will be 00000008.app
Look it up with a texteditor like wordpad.

Then the ip6 device seems to be your PC, as you downloaded the system menu(which is found on shop.wii.com like every other Wii file).
You could try to setup a hosted network between your PC and the Wii over WLan. PM me for instructions.

If you want to make a dump from Dolphin, install Microsoft Network Monitor
Then, start it as Admin(!), choose your standard network-adapter (like wired-connection etc) and start the dump.
Do what you want in Dolphin, and then you see all the traffic classified by programs.

I can't go to the settings in dolphin, i have to do this on a real wii.

You can edit the Wii settings on Dolphin, but you'll need to boot on the System Menu. I used my decrypted dumped NAND for that.
However with this version of Dolphin, even if I can modify and save the settings I keep getting a black screen when I launch a game from the Disc Channel :v/.

The IP of amw.wc24.wii.com is a japanese one. Also wc24 should mean WiiConnect24 which was normally shut down last year. Pretty sure the Gamespy shutdown will have zero effect on it.

I'm online on Teamspeak in about an hour. Then we could do some testing with Hex-Edited System Menus on my Wii.

I also think that the First-Connect Servers stay online after the Gamespy shutdown, but better get this server working early than never.

I tested it.
I deleted all the s (73) and addet 00 at the end.

In dolphin it runs just finde on the real wii its a brick.

Maybe it has to do something with this two "strange" https:// where are a few .....(00 00 00) between them and the text?

maybee i'll try later to change only one s and look if it will work this way.

T&T works WITHOUT Internet! Otherwise it will be discounted 27 Jule 2013.

The Wii Shop is shutting down on Jan 30th, 2019. Are there going to be any problems?

The server likely wont die, because they'll leave it up for the "wsc is now closed" - plus, they know it'd kill connection testing.
Furthermore, if they genuinely have an issue, you could use the RC24 Mail patcher on Wii to inject a valid config
