Oh wait, Brawl is normal, the game id ALWAYS has J instead of E. Still mad at MKWii though.

What does your session id say?
It doesn't add the fc immediately, it takes some time.Friend Codes(Be sure to tell me that you've added me so I can add you back):

Hello. I too was having the same problem, and found a work-around (at least it worked for me).
The problem: every time I ran Maschell's "PID extractor" 0.1, it would say something like "Checking for game save XYZ" multiple times, scanning for save files for all XYZ supported games. I only have Mario Kart Wii among the supported titles. Upon saying "Checking for Mario Kart Wii", it displayed no further information, and would move on to the next title. In the end, I get a session id., but on maschell.de, my session id. never appears, and my profile data never got uploaded.
The work-around: I used "SaveGame manager GX". Navigate to the Wii's built-in storage, select the save game for MKW, click extract. Then choose an empty folder on the SD card I have in the Wii, and save a copy there. Then I select this copy on the SD card, click "Install", and have it overwrite the save file in the Wii's built-in storage.
Next time I ran the "PID extractor" 0.1, after "Checking for save game Mario Kart Wii" it printed something like:
found profile 0 done
found profile 1 done
found profile 2 none
found profile 3 none
and after a few hours, I was able to use my old profile for Wiimmfi WFC!
Maybe something about the location of my original save file made it invisible or unacceptable to the PID extractor, but by reinstalling the save file using SaveGame Manager GX made it visible again.
Now I just need to figure out how I can never catch up with those Funky Kong's with VRs up in the 9000s.

Hi. I ran the pidtool on 3 different Wiis today, but it only worked successfully on two of them. On the third one, it said it worked successfully and it even generated a Session ID, but it does not appear on maschell.de/pidtool.php?. The Wii is connected to the internet.
This appears to be the same issue bb010g had in August 2014 and Kyuji_Saekara had in October 2014. Has anyone discovered a solution?
If not, can someone suggest an alternative? I don't have to keep my existing mkw friend code, so if someone can teach me how to start from scratch, I can try that.

Could anyone help me?
I just have retrieved my Friend Codes using the Pidtool, but it didn´t work with my SSBB save.
I´ve received the following return:
RMCJ Mario Kart Wii4468-5765-7276 2016-11-12 22:28:06 181132103
RMCJ Mario Kart Wii3781-3825-4151 2016-11-12 22:28:06 221087097
RSBJ Super Smash Bros Brawl ?
Could you help me, guys? What should I do in order to get my SSBB friend code?
Thank you! -

I think he's saying there's a ? by the "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" line on the PID extractor I.E. it can't find the PID.
-
yea as PokeAcer said it has a ? by the "Super Smash Bros. Brawl" line on the pid extractor page and I dont know if I have to wait 24 hours or if I did it wrong
I want to start playing online as soon as I can and if somebody could help me out that would be great -
I might be a bit late in responding, but is the "?" under the "FC (beta)" column? Because if it is, then you can easily ignore it, it doesn't know how Brawl calculates the FC from the PID(which is why its in beta!).
You should be able to play online with that friend code by now.Friend Codes(Be sure to tell me that you've added me so I can add you back):

Just ran the pid extractor and I think all data has been sent to the server. (My 24h have just begun counting down) However I have one question concerning the next steps and I can't seem to figure it out by reading all the threads...
When do I know my friend code is registered? Where can I see it popup? I have a wiimmfi account and it keep saying "no profiles found" and "no consoles connected".
Any help is appreciated. -
The Wiimmfi account has nothing to do with the pid tool. Just try logging in and see when it works.
As soon as it does, you can then link your console to your account.DevkitPro Archiv (alte Versionen / old versions): wii.leseratte10.de/devkitPro/

Leseratte thanks for the quick response! And surprisingly i'm registered already wow. That did not take longer than an hour!
Anyone have an idea how i can find active player friend codes? Or can i also just wait for a very long time searching for random players?

@ArtutoGamer This should still work. Are you sure you're copied over the URL correctly? The slightest mistake turns into a 404.Disclaimer: The image below is my forum signature and has no correlation to my original message or response.

Hi. I load pidtool on the homebrew and i checked on the website of my id profile, but the status in there says nothing. here is the image of the website. Can you help me?
P.S. I'm trying to use it for mario kart wii. -
After running into several games that the wiimmfi website said the friend code was invalid, and that the pid tool didn't work with, I decided to create my own script that replicated the functionality of the pid tool.
It only runs on linux, but the logic is simple enough to port to other platforms. It searches through all files in an extracted NAND dump or dolphin folder and extracts any profile it finds.
The script can be downloaded here: gist.github.com/kabili207/2f0d1ad062ca0e2e9eb2dfd20238d8d3
When run, it will output the game ID, title, hex offset, and file name it found the profile in.

I also came across this program, which can decrypt the Pokemon Battle Revolution save data. gist.github.com/TuxSH/6a3a6b48b8a5564f6215
On linux, this can be compiled with the commandg++ -std=gnu++11 functions.cpp -o pbr_decrypt
. Then, drop it in the same folder as the PBR save data (which for the US version, is intitle/00010000/52504245/data/GeniusPbr
). My script will then upload any profiles it finds in the decrypted data. -
