I must have been under a rock but today I casualy find out that C1 online works???! Zeusus told me.

Congratulations to whoever made it work!

One question - I couldn't get online with my original save file, always got "error 60000".
This minute I made a new save file it connected me without a problem.

Can I however, make my original save file friend code work with online please?

It's possible after you linked your console with your forum profile at the Wiimmfi Portal.
There you can reactivate the account.

And it's already running some weeks, it was more or less luck that we(Wiimm and I) found out that it's basically already working. I just had to edit some code to make it work for TCon and C2

92070 is an error with the TCP gamestats server.

Does the C1/2 Gamestats TCP Server is based on my old TCP Server for BoomStreet? If so (and I guess so, because of the similar debug in your screenshot :vP), you should implement the ThreadedTCPServer class instead of the one I used (if you didn't). I didn't do it when I was working on BoomStreet, because there weren't so many people on the game and the chance of race-conditions where tiny. Plus I was sure my code can't make an infinite loop of some sort.

To implement it you have to add these two lines before the __main__:

Then replace this line:

(I love Python inheritance and SockerServer classes, it's so easy to make a threaded server with those :vD)

If it wasn't the python server who has made the deadlock, you should implement it anyway to prevent race-conditions. Or a game specific code (if you handle different games on the same server) which doesn't work properly to block the server or interfere with other games code. This can lead to a deadlock or make other working games to not work correctly.

Yes, it's a modded version of your server which already fixes some TCon/C2 issues. But I'm currently planning to rewrite the GS TCP Server to another, more stable language(I think of C++ or C#, since I already have written Client-Server based Applications for them) which makes database usage easier(I want to expand it to deliver real data instead of generic ones). The only problem is that the client(or the server) doesn't react as it should.
But anyways, thanks for the hint. I'll replace it for the time until I got the new server working.

If you want to send real data, you should see with @Wiimm to have read access to the database used by GPCM server. The problem BoomStreet has when you have a friend list is it tries to retrieve your friends data, but failed miserably because the information mismatch the profile you want to retrieve. If I remember correctly all the data you need to retrieve the profile is in the authtoken. But the profile id and the other data you need to send are in this existing database.

As you stated, rewriting this python server have to be done anyway. In term of performance C/C++/C# are way faster than python for this kind of job, the only exception is for python modules written in those languages. Anyway, as I said before, this python server was a temporary solution before a real implementation of the gamestats server.

Hi, new question. It seems confirmed that the Wii Speak works as fully functional in Animal Crossing City Folk on Wiimmfi. We tried using the Wii Speak in Conduit and the game says that 'Wii Speak is not plugged in', when in fact, it is.

Do you perhaps know anything regarding the status of Wii Speak functionality in Conduit on Wiimmfi?

If you have PAL and want to add a NTSC-Player, you have to enter his (NTSC-) friend code into the converter to get a PAL friend code which you are able to register, and which is linked to the same player.

But: The friend code converter has not been tested for conduit. Maybe it works, maybe not.

Hm latest we talked was in Brawl fb chat and me and many from the group tested Brawl and Mario Kart Wii with you in real time but it never worked, and came to conclusion that you should try resolving your connection problem with a new different router. I could never connect to you. So did you get a new router? Did you try it?
