And, as you claim, you were able to play in a friend room after the WFC shutdown. Is this still the case?

As I said some months ago, I'd play much more MSC again if I'd be able to play with custom settings like First to 10 Goals and being able to choose the stadium I want to play on. I have many other people on hand which are waiting for this possibility since the official shutdown of the NWFC.

Unfortunately, the is no interest in helping us guys so we can play MSC as years ago, though I offered donations for private rooms...

As for now, private rooms are only possible if you have added each other before the NWFC shutdown and entered both Friendcodes at wiimmfi.profeibe.at/show.php

My donation of 100€ still holds by the way. I'd probably also increase it to 150 or 200 if needed. Doesn't matter as long as someone is motivated in getting private rooms working.

EDIT: another workaround might be to change the Ranked settings to like First to 7 goals and only certain Stadiums to load? However I don't know where to change this...

It has no use and no purpose for this game. Since the game is region locked and has different data for the goalies between NTSC-U/J and PAL, it is impossible to play between them.

If running the cheat code version, if you're PAL, you need to know what version of the game you're running (there are two versions). To find out, get your game disc, flip it upside down, and look in the centre of the disc near the hole. You should be able to see a series of letters/numbers that match up with the ones I put above. Get the code that matches your disc! If you're not sure, just try one. If it doesn't work, try the other. If you're on an ISO, you can tell from a hex editor which version you have (byte at 0x7 with either be 01 or 02, with 01 needing the first code and 02 needing the second), but you may as well just try each code in turn to find which one that works. You should NOT run both at once, it would probably do bad things. If using the disc patcher above, don't worry, it will automatically detect and apply the correct code.

Bean doesn't have to; he made the code, you're the one who needs to find out how to patch it. You could just set the DVDRoot, and load the DOL of the wiimmfi patcher (with an SD card image) if you are using Dolphin.

Oh, and disc*.

If you sell your game you are not allowed to keep the image anyways.

And this is a normal cheat code so just add it to the cheat txt file the USB Loader downloaded.

It is not really helpfull when you programm a tool, software, game whatever and don´t give the needed informations to the people and explain it all.
Thats the reason Windows and not Linux is the mainly used system and that the reason games and tools and the Wii, Xbox 360 multiplayer is diing hardly.
Thats also the reason Apple takes the lead they make things ... easy

Its only the half job done. 1xxx Informations 1xxx different ways nothing concrete and full explained.

USB Loader GX won´t start Mario Strickers Charged Football (i have the latest version) but however for this i need a .gcf file ? created with ? geckocodes.org/index.php?gct=
WiiFlow has a extra cheat code downloader but there i miss this cheat code for the wiimmfi fix can someone please add it to the database ?

And btw. it is nowhere explained how to add/patch a cheat code under windows witht he wiimmfi patcher directly to a game.

We did not make the USB-Loader we only give the cheat code. So go ask the USB-Loader developers for a tutorial on how to add cheat codes, this is not our job.

We gave you the cheat code and told you to apply it, and we can't really give detailed instructions for each of the dozens of USB Loader (GX, CFG, WiiFlow, µLoader, ...).

We just say "add the cheat code X" and I bet if you google "how to add a cheat code to USB loader GX" or whatever loader you use you'd find the answer in the first or second link.

And "USB Loader GX won't start MSCF" is an entirely different problem than "I don't know what to do with the cheat".

You can either create the GCT on this page, yes, or you simply add the cheat code to the plain text file with all the cheat codes which is downloaded by WiiFlow; it isn't that hard to edit a TXT file on your SD card. Do you expect us to write a tutorial on how to use a text editor on your computer?

If we were able to add the cheat code to this database we would have done it, but the geckocodes.org page seems to be abandoned and we've found no way to contact the owner to get an account.

And it is nowhere explained how to add cheat codes to a game with the Wiimmfi Patcher because it is not possible; the Wiimmfi ISO Patcher only patches the game to Wiimmfi, and you need to apply the cheat codes with your USB Loader; and MrBeans Auto Wiimmfi Patcher applies the necessary cheat code on its own and you cannot add your own codes.

Umm...
Linux can be used easier than Windows - it comes with a good browser (Ubuntu has Firefox), packages are to be installed from a trusted source, and can't be RATed or scammed as easily as Windows. The fact that Apple makes things easy further increases my dislike of them; I want a challenge. The Wii is so easy to hack and thus run Wiimmfi upon that it's laughable that you must've asked /us/ - Google has a TON of documentation on what to do. And I personally learned a lot about the Wii from my own testing - Sometimes I googled, sometimes I just tried it out and failed

If everything is too easy then the new generation doesn't learn and then we miss out on a generation of people who want to learn and try new things to see if they can make them work.

Its really simple with USB Loader GX:

- Start USB Loader GX
- Select a game
- Settings
- Ocarina(cheats)
- Update or Download the newest File
- Now there is a R4QP01.txt in the "txtcodes" folder on your SD
- An than add the Lines from MrBean35000vr to this .txt
- after this the lines you have added appear in the list of "Cheat Codes" and you can enable it.
- additional you need to set under the main game Settings Ocarina(Cheats) to On
- Play the Game =)
