I keep getting 81010'd on MKDS online

I keep getting 81010'd on MKDS online

    Hello all,
Currently I am trying to connect to Wiimmfi servers on Mario Kart DS, using this guide. This all worked fine, was able to connect to the servers but each time I want to find a match, I keep getting 81010'd.
I even got to get one match (blinking yellow indicator for player), but even still I get errored on my face two seconds after.

Now I have been diagnosing this code and forwarded all the required ports, stripped my whole firewall off my router and still I bump into these errors.

Can anyone confirm this and/or help me with it?

    Thank you in advance,

    Reboot

P.S. I have been trying to write a message on wiimmfi.forumotion.com/ but there is a 7-day cooldown for registering.

Edit: I now occasionally receive 85030 and 85020 error codes as well.

Edit: All these three users (my ID is Jason) seem to loop continuously in status 1 (connected to WFC menu) to 3, and then either disconnect or start from status 1 again. assume the other two have the same problem.)

We do not own or use wiimmfi.forumotion.com, so please talk here if help is needed.
I haven't actually seen anybody on MKDS for a while, which is why you probably keep getting kicked, as the server must think you're inactive. I am currently online, so please try searching.

EDIT: I found 2 people, then they disconnected :/
EDIT2: I found a new person (I guess it's you?) but a DC occured again. Can you tell me your MKDS FC?

I currently host the DLS1, GAMESTATS, and Peerchat server for Wiimmfi. if you have any issues with leaderboards (excluding MKW!), Mystery Gifts or other in-game downloadables, or Pokémon Wi-Fi Plaza, I can try to help!
    Okay. thanks for the info.
I am still trying to connect continuously. Same errors occur mentioned in my last post (81010, 85030 and 85020).

Thank you for coming so quickly to help diagnose this problem.

    My FC is 1423 3410 3359

I've been able to connect to users before - I connect to you, send some data, and you immediately DC, forcing me to go back to searching. @Leseratte is there anything in the logs?
@Reboot do you have a way to dump packets? (A Windows 7 computer on the same network as the DS will work fine).

Full packet drop in the following situation:
Connect to WFC > Do a global match > Get DC'ed (and I stopped there)

Try writing to a PCAP, and there's no data there on a DS - you need to place the computer inbetween the DS and the router so that the traffic flows through. Leseratte made his tutorial for Windows, IDK how it's done on Linux as I just ssh into my router and tcpdump.

I currently host the DLS1, GAMESTATS, and Peerchat server for Wiimmfi. if you have any issues with leaderboards (excluding MKW!), Mystery Gifts or other in-game downloadables, or Pokémon Wi-Fi Plaza, I can try to help!
I'll see if I can dump using my router-- else I'll use my laptop as AP and try to sniff from there. Just stand by for a moment

Haven't found a way to dump packets on the router, trying the laptop AP method...

I'm currently making a dump-- and for some strange reason I keep staying connected now. I'll dump my dump once I disconnect though.

I'm not getting any errors at all whatsoever right now. Has someone issued a fix in the meanwhile?
As for the router SSHing PokemonAcer, for some reason I am unable to SSH from there. That is no problem however since I use my laptop as AP currently. I'll get into that later however.

Still not getting any errors whatsoever. What the hell.

P.S. Thanks for all the edits you forum mods, I'm still a new user here and I'll try to adapt myself

EDIT: I supposedly have found the problem: the router keeps shitting itself. Sorry for causing you people to cause all this trouble for no good reason though.
On a side note, does anyone know what could be causing this?

Try DMZing instead of just portforwarding - DMZ puts the DS infront of the firewall (Internet <-> Router <-DS-> Firewall <-> Other stuff)
It's fine. Oh, and not all routers support SSH/

Alright I got this solved now.
The firmware of my router is ass. I proceeded to install OpenWRT on it along with Luci and now online works like a charm. Again, sorry for causing you guys trouble, thanks for the help so far.
Future users experiencing the same problem: Try adding your DS to DMZ via the router configuration as PokemonAcer said. If that does not work, consider upgrading your router firmware or install OpenWRT. (Installing that will void your warranty however)
I'll try to mark this as solved, if a mod needs to do that, please do so.
