wondering about any version of tetris and mario strikers charged..

i've read that there were problems with tetris in the past and now I don't see a wii version on the wiimmfi page at all. any news on that front?

also, i noticed that mario strikers charged says it is partially working...it says something about a cheat code.. does it work to play with friend codes? or is it like tat vs capcom where you have to leave it up to chance and just play whoever is online?

By "Tetris" I assume you mean Tetris Party Deluxe?

Anyway, that isn't working because so far only the DSiWare game is enabled - The server doesn't like it when you try to log into the game on a different console, so it errors on login with the other versions. @Wiimm said he was going to add support for the other games at some point to be patient for that.

As for MSC, if you use MrBean35000vr's Wiimmfi disc patcher, it should automatically apply the cheat code you need to get online. Friend rooms seem to only work if you've successfully added and played with another person before the WFC shutdown. You can play on Ranked just fine, but it won't update the leaderboards, because, well, those are practically non existent.

dang, too bad.. i was hoping there may have been some kind of resolution on tetris. I still play super tetris 3 on 4 player mode when i have friends over.

as for the other one, is that the same wiimmfi patcher i used when you helped me set my wii u up here? wii u setup

The whole server software is designed as "either Wii or NDS", but not for both. And I think it's not worth it to spent many hours in development and testing. However, it is on my to do list with very low priority.

I'm not sure where you're pointing to since that link leads to my post with my friend code, so... This is the patcher I'm talking about. Run it in the HBC.

I could, but "USA time" doesn't really tell me anything since, well, there's multiple timezones in the USA. I can only make a rough approximation as opposed to an exact time.

After writing this yesterday, I have an idea of a virtual console named "Mix" and a relative easy implementation.

A) 1 or 2 games you like to test
B) a complete list of games with dual logins.

I cannot test until Saturday; however, for regular NDS games I'd like to test, I'd like Pokemon Platinum, and Mario Kart DS. However, I do not know any dual-login games,

that was exactly my intention - just a ballpark.. I wasnt sure of an exact time. and Specifying USA goes a long way when 95% of the site you're on is in language other than english haha

@Wiimm I'm not sure of any other DS dual login games, so I probably don't own them(and consequently won't be able to test them).

As for other games, you could try Tetris Party Deluxe as previously mentioned in this thread?

FFC:EoT works fine btw - Wii<->DS communication tested, and if that works there's no reason to believe DS<->DS and Wii<->Wii won't work
