yeah but if you suddenly start playing poorly someone would notice the change and prob report you for that too like suddenly playing to lose
I didn't say play to lose, though. They'd also do well to prove that someone was playing worse than before, and I don't think the moderators would buy that.
lol i realised that when i went to bed, i just want to know exactly what justification there is for this ban, I in no way tried to sabotage anything or ruin any battle, all I did was sit out in a couple of battles with hani so that people who were not doing so well would have a chance of a good game because if i played as well they would just have lost again as the teams were too uneven or are we supposed to constantly forget mkw is a game of fun and just try and destroy everyone until they give up and leave? there are too few people playing battle as it is now. i`m not asking for the ban to be lifted but some of this reporting people is getting way out of control, its turning into a shoot first, ask questions later thing now.

You can't just sit out in a battle, that's obviously not okay. If you want to give people a chance, why not just play worse or something? There are tons of ways to play poorly without doing absolutely nothing and without being mistaken for a troll.
can you do me a favour and check exactly why I was banned, it says because of sabotaging a battle and i expect it was that cheating idiot zachy, i did not ruin any battle at all, my team won and if i ruined it then my team would have lost, i want to know which battle this was supposed to be if possible cheers

The Smart Suspend feature was a great idea, but it's causing a lot of problems for me and other users. Me and another CTGP user were forced to stop using it. Also, there seems to be some sort of problem with this, because in some cases, the countdown for a race won't even begin (And I checked, CTGP player was host. I don't think that was a fluke, as that never happened before.) So what trying to get across here is that I'm recommending that this update be reverted until it's a bit more improved (if it will be), because the game is one step closer to unplayable for me. If you want, I can upload a video that shows an example of the details I've explained above.
Edit: And to add on here, there's been 3 different cases of the "Race never starts" lag, right before countdown; I was in 2 of them, another was a CTGP user...
Edit again..:Now it's 4 cases.This didn't start happening until this new update, and every time it happens, the stealth DC happens. Why could this be?
Last edit for the night, there is now FIVE incidents tonight (and maybe much more) of mass lag and mass disconnection. If I understood correctly, the objective was to neutralize this issue, yes? Instead, it seems to have become more prominent. MUCH more prominent, and it's gathered attention already. The larger the room is, the more likely it is to happen. Again, please consider removing and/or improving this feature.
Throughout all of my testing, when I was the only person running the feature, this never happened at all. I played 8 days straight for several hours at a time, with players who weren't running it, and encountered basically zero problems. That would indicate it's compatability with normal MKW shouldn't be an issue. I'm getting slightly mixed but mostly positive feedback, a lot of people are telling me it's helping, one or two are not.
Are you sure it wasn't some kind of hacker delaying the race start by sending invalid packets? I really think I would've noticed that in testing.
Honestly, I haven't had any problems like this in the past month or two, but suddenly in the past day, I'm now having problems. Could or couldn't be the update, but I doubt it's a coincidence. First thing that happens - I use CTGP, and I'm getting disconnected much more than usual. Sounds like the work of the update, right? Then, I stopped using CTGP, and surprisingly, I didn't expect to stop getting disconnected so much, but I did. But instead, the countdown never starts issue is there, and I doubt that it's a hack.
As far as the feedback, is that mostly from people who CTWW or Countdown? (You seem to play Countdown 97% of the time)
And also to confirm this, I'll probably observe what happens if I start using CTGP again, just to see how accurate this explanation is (because honestly, I have a few doubts in my own statements, not 100% sure)
Feedback comes from everyone in all the regions, mostly WW and CTWW since Countdown is typically inactive. And interestingly, there's nothing about the Smart Suspend being active that would cause you to DC more, it can only disconnect other players, never yourself. So that much is at least a coincidence.
Let's say that I wasn't the host of the WW, and the host is running CTGP; It would most likely kick me out right? If so, that might be the case.
But it can kick anyone out, regardless of whether they're on CTGP or not, so you getting DCed less after stopping using CTGP means very little

I see, ctgp users can use anti-cheat, also when custom tracks are disabled, good Job.
But my question is: is it possible, to play the battle mode (online) , also when cts are enabled?
For the next update, it would be nice, if people can set it up, if they want to use custom tracks + countdown mode or custom tracks with battle mode.

Too much of a variety of custom tracks if you ask me, plus they probably wouldn't get added to CTGP
Also.. there was not an announcement that IIB works without CTs enabled? I would have turned them off ages ago if I knew this

Just a little update, I found a cheater in ww with CTs off, the cheat protection doesn't work with CTs off. Not sure why, but don't try it. With that being said, I'll be leaving CTs on from now on.
Did you never tried out what happen when you play a Custom Track Distirbution which is not CTGP-R v1.03? When you start battle you play on a radom normal Custom Track and after the battle the game freezes because of the missing battle end position. There is a reason why Bean replayed Battle with Countdown Mode. Otherwise we would have battle in ctgp-r and every other Custom Track Distirbution with the CTGP_Code.

One day I play in WorldWide and someone voted for N64 Rainbow Road, that track was selected, and they play in that track.
But my question is... why I can play in that track online if I don't have that track in my selection menu

I am using CTGPR, which so happened to be made by you and Chadderz.
However, I'm running into some issues. When I try to launch the game it will get stuck on 'verifying with server' forever. However, I tried reinstalling CTGPR which then made it work again, only after the fresh install. I'm sure the problem resides on not establishing a network connection before verifying with the server. (it does not show up before the message 'Verifying with server'.) Can you please look into this problem?

Hello MrBean35000vr, I was playing in worldwide, I was playing it from CTGP-R. When the track was selected it loaded a custom track instead. I don't know how that happened. Was this a glitch or was it a disk reading error?
That would have been a silly player triggering a glitch in an old version of CTGP/CTGP's code to vote custom tracks in Worldwide. So CTGP just did what it was told to do, and loaded the custom track. Not your fault, needless to say.

Hello MrBean. I have a problem loading CTGP Revolution: when I press the "Updates" button the answer is "verifying with the server," and when I press "Launch Game" the answer is "getting information from the server". I wait a long time and nothing happens. I go out and try again but the same thing happens several times until finally I get it. I had this problem time ago but now is back. May be that one of the CTGP servers (updates,...I don´t know) is not running ok?
Try 2 start CTGP from the HBC or download ctgp again

I spoke with you earlier on the stream regarding MSC. I need some clarification, please. I saw a post about a year ago about "How to play Project M online" and saw a wiimmfi patch 2.1 code which I tried to implement, along with the gamestat code you've given, using Ocarina Code Manager. The game loads but when I get to the log in part of attempting to connect to wifi my Wii U freezes. It does work on Wii U, correct? And I asked this earlier but didn't quite hear you, when do you think friend matches for MSC would be accessible again? Thanks in advance.
Sounds like that code might be bad. Yeah, all of this should work on Wii U, and I don't know when friend matches will work again.
What did you do to get online with msc?
I'm trying to find out will you have time to update your disc-method patcher, so that it can work without issues with Animal Crossing City Folk? MAybe it needs to resolve the OSLink problem, similar to Brawl? The issue is that between each action, while gates are open, it takes minutes to literally 30minutes for action to load.

Yeah, CTGP should be able to be played via Wiimm's server. As far as I know, the server is open for anyone to use, which is great!
