Mit dem Programm 3DAlbum ist es möglich, sich die 3D-Fotos (.mpo) eines 3DS' am Windows-Rechner anzuschauen. Dabei kann man sich nicht nur die mit beiden Kameras geschossenen Bilder nebeneinander ansehen, sondern mithilfe einer 3D-Brille auch ein echtes 3D-Bild bewundern. Ebenfalls kann man die Cross-Eye-Methode für eine 3D-Wahrnehmung nutzen. Das Programm ist komplett japanisch, doch dank optionaler Darstellung der Bediensymbole durch Bildchen ist das Programm auch für Deutsche nutzbar. Diverse Hilfen zur Wahrnehmung einer 3D-Grafik sind auf der Website des Programmierers erhältlich - selbstverständlich in japanischer Sprache.
