  • I'm unable to connect to the Wiimmfi servers on both MKWii and MKDS. On both consoles, I get DNS errors- 86030 on the Wii and 20100 on the DS. I've tried running nslookup nas.nintendowifi.net. 95.217.77.151 and nslookup nas.nintendowifi.net. 178.62.43.212 in the command prompt on my PC, and both returned "DNS request timed out" errors. Zitat von Leseratte: „This usually means your router is blocking some packets. Connecting to Wiimmfi requires normal HTTP and TCP connections, searching for players and actually playing requires lots of UDP connections. When these are blocked or don't arrive at their destination, that results in various different error messages while searching for players. Hi, did you ever find a fix for this error? I'm stuck with the same problem.

  • Unfortunately I cannot. I am not in charge of my network and am unable to do that. Edit: Is there a way I can check if my router is blocking it?

  • I booted Mario Kart Wii up after having not played it online for a few months. I went to my Wii's homebrew channel and ran the auto patcher, starting up the game. Once I go to play online, I connect successfully and am able to pick a character. But, after about 30 seconds (usually enough time for me to get to the "searching for match" screen) I get booted out to the main menu and given the error 86030. How can I fix this? As I said, it was working a few months ago.

I'm getting error code 86030 when I try to play Mario Kart Wii after patching it using the Auto Wiimmfi Patcher on my SD card. I run the patcher, load into Mario Kart, go to play online, connect, go through the character selection screen, and once I get to the "searching for players" screen, before it finds any players, it kicks me back to the main menu with the error code. Any advice? I can't find any info about this error online. I had my setup working just a few months ago (August 2019 IIRC) …
