Zitat von Leseratte: „This water does count as offroad, we have verified it using the speedometer. “ Hello yes, CT creator here. I'm not sure where you're getting your facts from but considering we have, you know, a Wiiki dedicated to stuff like this... It should be quite obvious to everyone that this water collision flag is in fact, not offroad. Really it's just sticky road with an extra quirk.

  • Here is video proof of this strange phenomena happening live: twitch.tv/swordofseals/v/52825041?t=05h05m35s Scenario: Voting Screen 3 players left 2 players joining (1 player tried again after kick) Problem: Players can apparently join the room during the voting screen. (This is similar to how Mario Kart 8 Day One DCs worked before Nintendo applied the server fix) Symptoms: Watch the voter count in the bottom right flicker as players enter and leave the voting screen. Fixes: Joining players are …

I have found it to be the case that wiimmfi.de relies too heavily on the current state of network you are on. If one was to roam wirelessly about on a mobile device or they are on a mobile data connection, the cookies stop doing their job and you are logged out.

  • Zitat von Procyon: „Sorry to bump an this old thread, but I'm new to homebrew on the Wii, I got it longer on the 3DS. But can I use an ISO to play AC:CF online? “ Yes, please see the Wiimmfi-Patcher for further details.

I did take time to post in another section and you were a great second resource for help “ I have been forwarding everyone with sudden unexplainable 23915 errors to the About Banning thread. I also collect friend codes for all such reports. Thing is, moderators do not have access to a user's history of MACs, history of IPs, or much history data at all save for bans. 23915 isn't verbose…

In your situation, bandwidth and ping are not the primary concerns. Every internet service provider is different and it is very well possible that your ISP enforces stricter port filtering. You can, of course, try contacting your ISP in regards to peer-to-peer gaming troubleshooting. They should be able to help or remotely assist you.

Zitat von BeanJr: „My best guess is that CTGP was never patched properly to accommodate for "regardless of VR" stuff. @MrBean35000vr care to comment? “ VR search was intentionally added back in due to popular demand. A timeout will occur wherein failure to find a player within 60 seconds disregards the search range.

Zitat von EC2 Milo: „What is the IP address, the DMZ and DNS supposed to be set on to get on wiimmfi with a 4G connection? “ It's not required, and in most cases, you are unable to change these settings. Port filtering is usually not strict with 4G tethering so you don't have to worry about it since they expect you to make use of web applications and games.

It is actually quite possible to play MKW over a 4G connection, depending on the quality of the connection of course. Heck I've played MK8 over it. Normally a cell provider does not let you dictate how ports are filtered but it sounds like you're using a 4G router. Have you tried tethering a wireless hotspot from your phone instead?

  • Zitat von Leseratte: „Correction: packet dumps of connection tests from people with the issue at a time the official WFC was still up. “ So in other words, there's nothing you can do.

  • I think we're already past the Nintendo troubleshooting portion of this, judging from the number of players who have attempted such fixes with no resolution. :p Since both altwfc and Wiimmfi are based on analysis of the original protocol, we can safely assume that both would have an incomplete understanding of NATNEG. Based on the assumption that NATNEG is and has always been incomplete from the very beginning, I believe Lukas would simply like an answer to his initial question: Is NATNEG being …

  • We're assuming that altwfc and Wiimmfi have similar code, so we're not expecting performance to radically change should altwfc receive a full 12 player test. That being said, no one has ever performed such a test because there's simply not enough players who know how to do it and can arrange for it at a specific time.

  • Has it never occurred to you how strange it is that there is such a large ratio of players forwarding their packets as unreliable when such occurrences were reserved in Nintendo WFC as a last resort? And please stop taking this so personally. Wiimmfi isn't perfect, everyone can clearly see that it's not. It's a great service to have yes, but just because the issue doesn't appear to lie with the server, does not mean you've overlooked something that packet dumps cannot tell. It's simply a brash e…

  • Port forwarding does not fix this. I've received numerous reports of these symptoms and they generally originate from specific router brands. This is because different router brands perform NAT differently or certain routers support only certain methods of translation. UPnP is found in all modern routers today, there is no additional port forwarding required. (As a sidenote, I've noticed that my router does not list the Wii in the UPnP table from Wiimmfi, but I distinctly recall it showing up fo…

It cannot do that I'm afraid. Anything that is purely on the client and does not alter the data sent cannot be detected by mkw-ana. Actually one of the ways to "hidden hack" is to either have discreetly modded Nintendo tracks or change the base stats of characters and vehicles.
