Which patcher are you using, and with what version number? The disc patcher v0.7, and the ISO patchers v7 and v7.1 were buggy, you probably need either the disc patcher v0.7.1 or the ISO patcher v7.2.

That only works for Mario Kart Wii, though, not for all games.

Which exact patcher did you use to do that? We know that the ISO patcher v7 and v7.1, as well as the disc patcher v0.7 had a bug that can cause this issue in a couple games, and yesterday we've released bugfixes (ISO patcher v7.2 and disc patcher v0.7.1) that should fix these issues. If this game (Fortune Street) was indeed affected by that bug, you'll both need the most recent patchers to make the bug go away. @VGmaster We've updated the new patchers, friend matchmaking is now working again in Mario Sports Mix. Random matching isn't working due to a Wiimmfi bug, we'll look into that in the future.

The other patchers are now updated as well (see download.wiimmfi.de/patcher/ ) so you can now test again if you'd like. Mario Sports Mix should now work with these patchers.

The bug is now fixed in the FlashHax and str2hax (Internet Channel & EULA exploits), we will release an updated version of the Homebrewchannel application (Auto Wiimmfi Patcher) and the ISO patchers soon-ish. If you're using Wiis, not Dolphin, you could try one of the already updated methods (EULA or Internet Channel) and see if it now works as it should.

Thanks a lot for reporting this. The non-working random matching is a bug on Wiimmfi, Wiimm will take a look at that at some point. The non-working friend matching was indeed a bug in the newly-released v0.7 Wiimmfi patchers, Wiimm and me found and fixed the bug and we'll release updated v0.7.1 patcher as soon as possible.

If snt reported this issue a week ago, and it also happens to just one player (and not all of them), that's probably connection issues, unrelated to yesterday's update.

That ... patcher seems to think that your copy of The Last Story is a MKWii copy... Can you post the output of the view-images.bat in the tools folder, too?
