Hi everyone, recently we've been working on a new feature for Wiimmfi. We've developed this feature with MKWii in mind, but it will most likely also work with a bunch (but not all) of other Wii games as well. A conn fail of around 3 in a 10-player-room isn't the best connection, but it's far from ban-worthy, in my opinion. The only person I ever gave a longer ban to for a bad connection regularly had conn fail values of 10 or 11 in a 12-player-room.

Bans like that usually mean that your track modifies more than just textures (and gives you an advantage), or that it's a known laggy texture hack that causes issues.

Also mir ist softwareseitig nichts bekannt was dafür sorgen würde dass die SD nicht mehr erkannt wird. Die Karte ist aber schon richtig (=> FAT32 und nicht exFAT) formatiert? Prinzipiell kann man aber Homebrewmäßig nahezu alles auch über USB machen.

Also auf den ersten Blick sehe ich schonmal dass -i X in dem Windump-Befehl so nicht funktionieren kann. Da musst du die Nummer deiner Netzwerkkarte eintragen.

Musst nur auch noch 0001-3444-1788 registrieren, Wiimm nimmt fürs Intermezzo meistens nicht sein normales Profil sondern das hier.

Das kommt darauf an, wie viele Strecken es gibt. Ein Intermezzo gibt es meistens 1x pro Woche, und beinhaltet immer alle (brauchbaren) neuen Strecken und Updates die innerhalb dieser Woche rausgekommen sind. Manchmal sind das nur 2 oder 3, manchmal sind es 10. Aber du musst natürlich nicht bis zum Ende bleiben.

Genau, wir sind halt im Moment im Wiimmfi-Kanal weil wir gerade an Wiimmfi basteln. Mittwochs und Donnerstags abends sind wir dann aber im Mario Kart Wii Kanal.

Indem du im Idealfall auch schon vorher MKW-Fun mitspielst und im Teamspeak bist.

Weiß ich nicht, eigentlich sind zumindest Wiimm und ich immer im Teamspeak. Jetzt z. B. auch, also wenn du uns im Moment nicht auf dem Teamspeak siehst dann ist irgendwas falsch (falscher Server oder so).

Die Infos im ersten Post in diesem Thema sind wohl schon etwas veraltet ... Meistens läuft es aktuell so dass wir Mittwochs und Donnerstags um 19:30 MKW-Fun in der Region spielen, und dann je nach Zeit, Lust und Streckenanzahl irgendwann zum Intermezzo im Freundesraum wechseln. Wenn das Intermezzo bis Mittwoch abend schon fertig ist dann Mittwochs (was meistens der Fall ist), ab und zu aber auch Donnerstags. Meines Wissens ist es recht kompliziert, mehr Musik-Slots in das Spiel reinzubekommen. Du könntest also höchstens die Originalmusik durch andere ersetzen, aber nicht so leicht jedem Custom Track auch seine eigene Musik geben.

Vermutlich weil die Wii halt ne alte Konsole ist und weniger Leute ihre Wii modden wollen. Und bzgl. Switch-Modding und so wurde hier halt eher der Anschluss verloren. Und TeamSpeak ist halt eh "out". Der ist eigentlich nur noch Mittwochs & Donnerstags abends in den MKW-Fun-Runden aktiv.

WSZST accepts any file independantly from the file name. Issues like this are caused by Windows and/or Cygwin weirdness, and I don't think there's much Wiimm can do about that. If that causes issues, maybe you can make your script move all tracks to a temporary file name before you call wszst.

There is hundreds of CLI tools to replace text. sed "s/ITEM-CHEATS/ITEM-CHEAT/g" or awk '{gsub("ITEM-CHEATS","ITEM-CHEAT"); print}' or perl -pe "s/ITEM-CHEATS/ITEM-CHEAT/g" or dozens of other commands. All of these have Windows builds as well.
