Looks like you didn't set up the autoadd library which is required to turn WBZ/WU8 files into SZS files: szs.wiimm.de/wszst/cmd-autoadd.html
The point of WBZ/WU8 is to not have to distribute stuff like Nintendo's original 3D models for item boxes or other objects that are usually included in a track. When tuning such a file back into an SZS for the game to use, wszst has to put these 3D modes back in - but in order to do that, you need to tell it where it can find these.
