May 20., 2014, Nintendo will turning off the Wii-Servers. This will disable all online gaming of all Wii games including Mario Kart Wii.
Because of this, an international group of developers will try to develop own servers, so that we can continue with online gaming. We will start with Mario Kart Wii, but development for other games is welcome.
Results will be archived in the Custom Mario Kart Wiiki.
We use English for all threads.
First Success:
Since May 03, the tester team played many versus and battle races online in rooms, regions and world wide.

Daher werden wir hier versuchen, eigene Server ans laufen zu bringen, so dass wir Mario Kart unabhängig von Nintendo online spielen können. Dieses Projekt könnte dann auch für andere Spiele das Online-Spiel wieder ermöglichen.
Und um dieses gemeinsam zu erreichen, wurde dieses Forum gegründet. Die Kommunikationssprache ist hierbei Englisch.
Ergebnisse werden übrigens im Custom Mario Kart Wiiki archiviert.

Seit dem 3. Mai hat das Tester-Team bereits viele Partien auf dem eigenen Server gespielt. Dabei wurden Wettkampf und Versus im Raum, in der Region und Global ausprobiert.
