Also, if a secret is missing from the list it should be in the DOL of the game (the main executable) - if I have time later I'll look.

Good evening everyone, and especially to Wiimm who I'd like to thank for his wonderful job on keeping the Wii online community alive!
If I may introduce myself, I'm the translator of two Wii japanese exclusives (Earth Seeker and "Ikenie No Yoru"), and am currently beta-testing my third project, a game named "Takt of Magic" which some of you may have heard of.
To summarize it to you, it's a game when you play a magician that can cast spell using the Wiimote, the spells being combinations of symbols with various effects.

The patch should be out by the end of the month or so, and since the game used to be played online (only in Japan though), I gave it a try with Wiimmfi to see if me and my beta testers could connect.
While we do see the Internet menu, it stops at the final step (friend code) : I was wondering if there were something we could do about it, since "Takt" seems to have some compatibility with Wiimmfi to say the least.
I downloaded the template and replaced what I could to make further testing, but one thing is missing : I am asked to enter the "secret for encrypted data" which I have no idea of...
May I take the liberty to put the file online, and see if someone can help me see if the game can be played? It would be much appreciated since the game is actually very fun, and people on the translation forum have expressed interest into it.
I hope I didn't overstep, and thank you in advance for your answers.

However I can't find the game name "Taktofmagicwii" in there. Are you sure that that's the correct internal game name?

That is the thing, the game isn't on the list but seems to connect since I have access to the online menu I translated (which I can't when I use Riivolution to play the game with the patch applied "on the fly", since it tries to connect to servers that were shut down).
So I was wondering if a few tweaks might do the trick? I'm sorry, I don't want to look like I want other people to do the job, it's just that online game was a huge part of Takt of Magic by the time, and now that it's finally gonna be in English people ask me if they will be able to play it so...

You can try to make a network dump of the connection. If the game is using Gamespy (and thus could potentially be used on Wiimmfi), the game name will show up in the network dump.

NBA 2K10 works fine. It didn't need to connect to any external servers. But I wouldn't say Full Support until I play with someone.

Hello there. So you might know puyo puyo 20th anniversary doesnt work. any searching onine will cause error 85010. I made a packet dump of the files that had "wiimmfi.de" in the source. not sure if this is all i need to give you to fully understand the problem. tell me if i need anything else. the traffic is probably SSL cryped i think and it won't show up. no game server link actually appears for any game in wireshark. only my wii saying ARP announcement when i connect online. And i got these wiimmfi.de sources after alot of tries randomly. I don't know whats going on here. here's the dump anyways, maybe you can tell something from this? thank you. -
This dump does not contain any network data from a Wii at all. You probably just dumped the traffic from when you visited wiimmfi.de or wii-homebrew.com in your web browser on your computer.

Probably because you are playing on the Wii and recording on the computer, and the Wii has no reason to send its traffic to the recording computer instead of the router / the internet.
