      Hi,
      As you may or may not know, Wii Speak channel was just enabled, as I sent Wiimm the game definition file. However, my own Wii Speak broke a week ago, and until I can buy one I cannot help. I have 2 testers so far, but it'd be nice if others could help.

      Here's how:
      1. Patch WAD (I will put how to below)
      2. Try using the channel, talking to others, etc..

      Now, you will need a Wii Speak not USB Mic - Wii can tell the difference. Also, a lot of you probably deleted the Wii Speak Channel. Fear not, you can use NUS Downloader to get it from Nintendo's servers.

      How to patch:
      1. Get your WAD (NUS Downloader or extract from system) if you're extracting from system, delete channel once you have the wad

      2. Download The WiiWare Patcher (forum.wii-homebrew.com/index.p…185-WiiwarePatcher02-zip/) which was made by @Wiiprogger and extract

      3. Get the Nintendo DS/GBA compression tools (gbatemp.net/threads/nintendo-ds-gba-compressors.313278/) and extract the lzx.exe into the WiiWarePatcher folder

      4. Use ShowMiiWads to extract the wad file into a folder
      5. Get the 00000001.app file and move it into the WiiWarePatcher folder
      6. Run WiiWarePatcher.exe
      7. Put the 00000001.app file back into it's original folder
      8. Pack the WAD with ShowMiiWADs
      9. Install with a WAD manager (I use MultiModManager) If it wont install, try loading to IOS 250
      10. Run the channel!


      I currently host the DLS1, GAMESTATS, and Peerchat server for Wiimmfi. if you have any issues with leaderboards (excluding MKW!), Mystery Gifts or other in-game downloadables, or Pokémon Wi-Fi Plaza, I can try to help!

      Just to confirm, the method worked as expected. Not sure if it will still work if you add friend codes now since the Wii awaits registration and WC24 (WiiConnect24) is dead.

      EDIT: Just tested and registered both my Wii and Wii U but my Wii U gives a 41155 error code repeatedly :S. However, both of my Wii and Wii U don't know they are registered yet, they just say "Pending" and I'm not able to let them both verify if they are register because of the error code. (Sometimes occurs on my Wii). Any suggestions?

      EDIT 2: Was now able to get both of my Wii online but they don't verify they are registered.

      Then I do need a network dump of registering another console to check what the Wii is sending.
      But as there are not dumps of Nintendos answers, ...

      i think i have a wii speak let me look around for it. and i'll edit my post.

      if not i think my local wal-mart has one on the clearance rack. won't be able to get it to june however but i'll do my best for the sake of wii wi-fi.

      As long as you did not test the game/channel WITH someone else it is not considered working.

      Login should work on EVERY game which has a game definition file. The real question is whether the game/channel is able to connect to a different person and whether those people can play together / talk to each other.

      We have found out that we need to recode before it works - it will not find others
