Actually in UK it's illegal to advertise about sales, but they aren't illegal and you can also use Action Replay..

Doesn't the code Starlight provided in that thread only work on Mario Kart DS? With the patcher, it should work on all DS games.

You can use WfcReplay to generate the ds game action replay code (I prefer it over ROM patch anyways) and WfcPatcher for ROM patch.

I was not aware that there was a generator.

How does that even work?

AFAIK both of them scan through the .nds file's .bin files and if it finds 'https' it remembers it and generates an action replay code/patches the rom to change 'https' (68 74 74 70 73) to 'http ' (68 74 74 70 00) (I added the space to mean padding)

Yes it makes a new console, go on my status page and you can see >2 NDS consoles which is just the same DS. Also, I don't understand how my NDS has a FC xD
EDIT: You need to somehow make the pokemon gen4 games have different names because I have 2 Pokemon FCs ATM and both say Dmnd, because Pokemon D/P/Pt/HG/SS/B(?)/W(?)/B2(?)/W2(?) all use ADAJ to login ( the ? means maybe) so maybe make short 'Pkmn Gen4/5'

@Wiimm I have made a game def file for pokemon D/P/Pt/...... which has name changed to 'Pokemon Generation 4/5' and short to 'Pkmn Gen4/5'
I also set the text from 'TEST' to 'NOSTAT' as the ATM not working things (GTS, Battle Video and WFC Plaza) are all gamestats and @Ciapa hopefully will compile the pokemon gamestats stuff given to him.

7 days is a bit long, but then again that's probably making most of us (including myself) more impatient. But 7 days won't kill anyone!

I have been registered and played on Wiimmfi already but I'm seeing this error message. when the Nintendo servers got shut down I hacked my wii, my sister's, and my dad's. we played several times. How come we get this if we aren't "new" users?

It's been a few months since we played but we tried this weekend and got the error... Is it because we were inactive or something? we ONLY play against each other.

Someone in our groupme chat is waiting 7 days to play Animal Crossing: Wild World.
Edit: He told us its worth the wait, so its not a problem. I was just stating that it happens with DS wfc id creation.

A game definition based solution would be amazing in my opinion.

As far as I know you just have to wait. Tomorrow, your code should be 23886. The last number will change be -1 every day. Maybe someone else can clarify/complete the answer for snunicycler?

Hey there, I was wondering that if I can prove I am a legitimate player if I could skip the wait period (only once). I've never used wiimmfi before and it caught my interest after watching some streams. I could wait a week... but my holidays end in a week and then I'm back to uni

If not, that's fine but thought I'd ask anyways.

IIRC the week wait is programmed in so @Wiimm probably cannot override it..

Did you wait the 7-day period? Otherwise it's probably not possible to skip that like @PokemonAcer already said

Thanks! That's what I thought until I saw a different error code 23899 (?) that said something about registering correctly. I'll give it a shot after work tonight when I get home and see if the code has changed.

This is the way it has to be, because it's one of the only ways we have to defend against hackers. They made the situation this bad it had come to the creation of this new error code.

You may as well give it an exception to anyone who joins the CTGP region then. Then you'd just have to move the 7 day check to matchmaking and keep login as it is.

But is that necessarily fair? Sure, I wouldn't mind exceptions for the CTGP region, and once me and Wiimm have discussed a few more things in private, him being able to identify CTGP clients on login will be easy. But that doesn't take into account everyone else who's trying to get on and play the game who DOES have to wait. Why should CTGP be special in that regard? Plus, if people found out CTGP skips the deadlines, that would no doubt inflate our userbase, and while I wouldn't mind having more players, it's not really... how I want to get them, if you see what I mean.

It's not supposed to be fair though. You've created an ecosystem with no hackers, no way for outside hackers to get in, plus it has the fringe benefits of blocking Dolphin players which are lagging up the regular WW rooms. No other CT pack will ever match the success of CTGP so it may as well be the default method at this point... once you jump over the hurdle of using a disc anyway.
