Error 238xx : Consoles are activated 7 days after registration (for MKWii profiles only)

Perhaps, but it sure isn't as an unpopular opinion as penalizing everyone because some hackers rustled your jimmies. Let the hackers come; CTGP probably deserves its own WW region sooner or later. Besides, Wiimm has far more important things to do than worry about the hacker situation, like making the server function more on par with Nintendo WFC.

I just spent two hours setting up this service to find out I now have to wait a week to use it... Honestly this turned me off of using it... I think there could have been a better way to handle this issue. Ah well... I can see the reasoning behind it though, hopefully not too many people will have this same experience.

I bet loads of people will rebel to ALTWFC because of this, but for those who are lucky enough to get in beforehand can still play without complications

Resume for the first week. I met only item-cheater while in about 5h online playing. And I searched cheaters to test new mkw-ana features. Before, I met at least one cheater every 30 minutes.

And yes I know, that the cheaters try to beat the system again.

Hi. The profile I've been using for Wiimmfi is recieving ec 23887. I thought this ec was for newly registered profiles?

I have to wait 7 days for EACH NEW GAME REGISTERED, even though I registered my console before the new rule, is this normal?

The 7 days rule depends only on console settings. Mac changer and different Dolphin hacks create always a new console.

Weird, because I get the 238xx error on any new Wii game I haven't played before, then it works 7 days later. And I actually use a Wii console, not an Emulator.

Same here, but only on games I haven't played before, then I have to wait a week for each newly registered game. And I play on a Wii console too. Maybe it's just a glitch, I don't know...

Yesterday, I activated it on Mario kart Wii and I got the error code to wait 7 days. I accidentally clicked on the error code again today and a different one popped up. Do I have to wait an extra 7 days? And prior to activation, after 7 days can I just start playing or does the moderator have to decide that? I know I have a lot of questions

sorry but just one more: do you have to play in a group room to play or can I do worldwide?

If the error code was 23886 then that just means you have to wait six days. Also yes you can just start playing after the seven days.

i received the error code 20103 and they told me something was wrong with the connection but its not. I already waited 7 days as well so I still don't know what the problem is

20103 is normally not used by Wiimmfi ...

Can you tell me your Wii Friend Code (you see that in the Address book in the System menu) and the exact time (and timezone) when you try to connect?

That Wii code did not try to connect to wiimmfi today. Either you have some obscure network issue that raises 20103 or you are not playing on Wiimmfi but on AltWFC or any other server.

Maybe because its because im not registered I'm assuming? A week ago they gave me a code that let me know the Wii was registered and I had to wait 7 days. I downloaded the Wii patcher onto my SD card through homebrew channel as well

23806 is a normal Wiimmfi error indicating you need to wait 6 more hours for your console to get activated.

kinda pissed off at this rule, being a legit player coming back to a game, but playing wiimmfi for the first time. I understand the rule it just sucks that it even has to be put into play. Considering I've been looking forward to playing mkw again, the wait is kinda just annoying. already had to deal with slow shipping after buying a wii again, lol

Short answer: yes, there are that many faggots.
If you would've already played on Wiimmfi before that 7-day rule and all the other new improvements, you would've sold your Wii and the game again in less than 2 hours. Trust me, it was really bad.

In fact, I had misplaced my USB, and I had bought an MKW disc again (found USB other day xD ) but I only bought it mainly to play on Wiimmfi, as there were more changes to make hacker's lives hell.

Does changing your Internet settings result in this error? I got 23887 after changing my Internet settings to my current WiFi today. I think I have used Wiimfii a few times before.
