Seems to be working now, don’t know why it was telling me to wait 7 days before. I tried again 10 mins later and it worked.
Error 238xx : Consoles are activated 7 days after registration (for MKWii profiles only)

Hello, I'm trying to play using my vWii NAND on Dolphin but I receive the error code 23934 (="Invalid login parameter") So, obviously the culprit must be the NAND, right? It's a legitimate dump, but I don't think Dolphin recognizes it correctly. For the record, I played actively in 2018 with the same NAND and I last played online in 2019 July. After importing the NAND, I remember pressing the "Check NAND" button and it making some changes instead of saying "No issues have been detected".
Is there anything to do? I'd just like to play online whenever I want. Thanks. -
That is probably a bug in the tool you used to make the NAND dump. If you follow these steps you should be able to fix that: forum.wii-homebrew.com/index.p…r-error-23934-on-Dolphin/

Well technically in theeeeory you could dump with a RawDump drive and not own a Wii and still legally be allowed to play it, but yeah uh you need a real Wii NAND (a "virtual"Wii NAND from a WiiU works too!)
-
In summary, sounds like a physical console is still needed (Can’t say I’ve heard of that first part though?)

Dolphin still has the wait (though 14 minutes is not long at all :P), but the 7 day wait is checked before your ban.
If you're getting 23918 then are you absolutely sure you imported your NAND? Clearly you've used your MAC (which you need to) but it should work. -
Hello,
I have dumped my NAND, imported it to dolphin, waited the 7 days for activation, and managed to play several online matches. The problem is that I accidentally booted the game and attempted to connect to servers through ishiiruka-dolphin. In doing so, the 7 day activation period has reset and I request if possible for this to be removed as I have already waited through this period once, and I would like to avoid waiting another week as I have already connected to and played matches on the server through dolphin with the NAND I am currently using. -
I suggest setting either normal Dolphin or Ishiiruka Dolphin to portable mode by making a portable.txt in the same place as the EXE. That should avoid this issue again.

I just ran into the 23887. Not a big deal, my son can wait a week. He's just disappointed since it was working yesterday (the day I installed it). He also has a Switch, but really wanted to play all the courses, and we found this together. So I'm super happy that this exists, and waiting a week, oh well. And yes, I know the likelihood of a new device like mine at this point is very very low.

The reappearance of EC 23887 seems to be a Wiimmfi error and will probably be fixed before too long.
-
I think I got the same issue as BigRed, I got my old Wii working again and did the procedure to get into wiimmfi, this was on Sunday, I ran into no problems I could play without the activation, I think it was because I did play WFC matches on that Wii long ago, not sure though.
So yesterday I went to play again but this time the activation period did show up as error 23886, I really don't get why since I could already play the day before.
-
same thing here i think their servers are broken or something. I waited 7 days and it tells me i have to wait again. I placed all the NAND files and other poop from the wii console.
-
Why is there the 7 day waiting period for Mario Kart Wii? Because the standard Dolphin Nand was banned, you can now recognize every player by their Wii Nand. So a hacker cannot simply create a new identity (unless he has several Wii consoles, but that is expensive). Why do you still need this 7 day waiting period?

People can reset their NAND With ohneschwanzenegger or any program that is like that

Using tools like ohneschwanzenegger doesn't help you get around bans, that's correct. Wiimmfi still knows which console the NAND was originally taken from.
Nowadays the 7-day wait for Dolphin is mainly to prevent the creation of lots of console identities on Wiimmfi.
There's lots of people that have their Dolphin misconfigured in a way that makes it use new serial numbers or MAC addresses or stuff like that on each start. Right now, since we have the 7-day waiting period for Dolphin users, they are going to notice that (because they get the 7-day waiting period all the time when one of their identifiers changes) and fix that.
If we got rid of the 7-day wait time for Dolphin users they wouldn't notice that they're always using a new identity, which A) fills up the Wiimmfi database with lots and lots of useless junk consoles that will only ever be used once - which we don't want - and B) it breaks stuff like OPENHOST where you need to have your particular console linked to a Wiimmfi account.
Also, one thing that you seemed to have forgotten:
If you have a Wii or WiiU console that has connected to Wiimmfi in the past, and you import that console's NAND into Dolphin, *and you did that correctly without fucking up your Dolphin config like described above*, then you will not have a 7-day waiting time on Dolphin. If you do still get that waiting period, that in itself is evidence that we still need that period, because you tried using a new identity.DevkitPro Archiv (alte Versionen / old versions): wii.leseratte10.de/devkitPro/

Hi. I uploaded a new wii nand on dolphin and it gave me the please wait 7 days error message and then, it gave me the wait 3 days 12hrs message, and now its giving me the 7 days error message. I already waited 10 days. Can someone please help me with this issue I dont want to wait an other week to be told the same thing again.

Hey Um, lets say I register my console on dolphin due to the fact my internet does not work on my wii for some reason (it was working when it was in another room, could also be due to a new router.), and then I get my real wii's internet working again. Could I use my real console even if I registered it using dolphin via a bootmii backup?
-
You should be able to use it. It works for me.
