im having issues with the 20100 error code and it says i need a connection when i have all the files needed and the latest patch. even tried nusd system menu to try the connection and that showed positive, any options???? ive troubleshooted for 4 days now. i have dolphin 5.0 and have tried other latest ones but they are unstable after a while on my system.

20100 on Dolphin most likely means one of these things:
- You are not using the most recent version of the Wiimmfi patcher
- You are not using your own NAND
- You do not have the SSL certificates in the proper place

Yes, you do need to get a proper NAND from your Wii.
Use this tutorial to get the certificates, de.dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/wii-network-guide , and this tutorial to setup your NAND de.dolphin-emu.org/docs/guides/nand-usage-guide/ .

in recent Dolphin dev branches: "Tools->Import BootMii NAND Backup" - this will overwrite your saves, so back them up! (Export Wii Saves exists)

Hi! I'm new to this community. I would like to play mario kart with wiimmfi on my dolphin installation. I have patched the iso, put my nand and mac address from my real wii into the emulator, as well as the SSL certificates and tried to connect. I got the message that the console was registered and I had to wait 7 days, so I did. I checked a few times this week if it was still registering and each time I got the counting down error message. When I tried to log in today the timer was reset and I got the message to wait 7 days again. Any idea what this could be? I put my mac address in the dolphin.ini file under the wirelessmac parameter.

How do I get my MAC address from my wii and put it onto the dolphin emulator

In the Wii network settings you can view your Wiis Wifi MAC address. Just edit the Dolphin.ini config file on your computer and put the MAC into the "WirelessMac" parameter.

Either extract and manually copy them into the Dolphin folder, or update Dolphin to a newer version which has the NAND import thing.

hello, I'm new here so I don't know where to ask this but I've got a problem. 3 weeks ago I installed ctgp, waited for the console activation and then played normally. but yesterday I wanted to do some japanese regionals and competitions so I installed riivolution right? I managed to get the competitions working, but when I tried to connect I found EC23904 and i don't know what it is neither how to fix it. If I connect via ctgp then it's fine but if I try connecting via riivo then EC23904 pops up. Someone help? (sorry for my bad english).

Which one are you currently using? You need to use an updated game in order to play online. If you use Riivolution, you need a riivolution pack that contains these updates.
Atlas made one that you could use: avsys.xyz/wiimmfi.zip

Okay so I put Wiimmfi.xml into the Riivolution folder and Wiimmfi folder containing the main.dol inside the riivolution folder, is that right?

If I remember correctly, the Wiimmfi folder must be in the root of the SD card, as indicated in the XML file.

I'm trying to play Wiimms Mario Kart Retro 2015-05 but the v6 patcher seems to break the game. These screenshots are from someone I'm trying to play with on Dolphin, but I see the exact same thing on Wii U.

Trying to go into any track causes a black screen. We are not using the same image, we patched ours separately with the same results. -
The new Wiimmfi patcher is not supposed to be used on existing custom track distributions. Wiimm would need to release an update for that Retro distribution in order to make it compatible.

During the last few days, I have prepared a new version of the Wiimmfi payload to be rolled out soon. That new version doesn't contain any useful new features for end-users, it mainly is a rewrite that makes it easier for us developers to add more code to the patch itself.
However, because the new payload is quite complicated and might not work correctly, we don't want to immediately roll it out to all players using our update system.
Are there any players who are not using CTGP to connect to Wiimmfi (CTGP doesn't use this payload system) who would be willing to test the new update to make sure it doesn't break anything? I'm hoping we can get players from each game region (PAL, USA, JAP, KOR) so we can test all of these.
If you are willing to test, just send me your Wii/WiiU serial number (on the sticker under the console) and I will enable the experimental update for your console. We have just rolled out a Wiimmfi update using the Wiimmfi update service that provides quite a few useful features. All non-CTGP clients will have this update after they've restarted the console and connected to Wiimmfi again, CTGP clients need to go back into the channel and download it (as of 2019-09-18).
As of now, this update will do the following:
- The currently played track is displayed on wiimmfi.de/stats/mkw
- The suspend bug will no longer occur
- NATNEG will be quite a bit faster
- If NATNEG happens to get stuck, it should "unstick" itself after a relatively short time
