I finished the installation process with the Ultimate Wii Homebrew Installer. I had the Homebrew Channel Beta 9 previously installed, along with other channels, that are still on my 4.1 JPN Wii. I went to Data Management, Channels, SD card, inserted the SD card, and no window popped up. I even renamed the private folder to privateold. Should I deleted the channels I have on my Wii currently? Did I follow the steps right?

When I had all the files from the Ultimate Installer placed in the SD card, I then renamed the folder that popped up privateold. Before the Ultimate installation, was I supposed to create a private folder of my own called privateold? And do I need to delete all the channels i currently have? I removed all the previous files before I preformed the Ultimate installation, from my SD card. Was that a big mistake?

You don't need to delete any channels from your Wii. If you removed all files from your SD prior to trying to install the homebrew channel, just rename "privateold" back to "private" and it should work.

I went to Data Management, Channels, and then SD card, and nothing happened. In my IOS folder, I have multiple IOS files. Is that the problem?

NVm I was suppose to go to the SD card menu, for this is the latest BannerBomb.

Well that didn't work either. Do I have to have my Wii connected to the internet? Is a 2 GB SD card duable? Was I suppose to type 4.1j or 4.1J when I was putting in my firmware number during the Ultimate Homebrew installation? Will changing the boot file from boot.dol to boot.elf make a difference? Could it just be possible that BannerBomb is a defective Homebrew installer?
