It's less than 24 hours before the Wii Ware and Virtual Console shop shuts down forever. That leaves me with somewhat of a problem.
I was able to jailbreak and install the Homebrew Channel on a PAL Wii 2 years ago. However I still had some Nintendo shop points in that console.
According to your guide, it's now possible to jailbreak and install the Homebrew Channel regardless of software version. Is that correct? If so, should I just update the console or do I have to deinstall the Homebrew stuff and other custom software first? How can I deinstall those things?
Any recommendations on what to get from the shops? I have a PAL Wii U and I've heard something about needing LEGO games and others in order to jailbreak the Wii U.
