Hello! So I'm trying to play Animal Crossing: City Folk with my friend, and we both registered each other in our friend rosters. I can visit his town just fine, but when I open my gates for him to come visit, it gets stuck on the "connecting to Town Name" message for a while, before giving me error code 80430. Would anybody know how to fix this? Thank you!

EDIT: I almost forgot to mention something possibly important: I'm playing on my wii u with the wiimmfi patcher while he's playing on dolphin with a patched copy of city folk

Oh? But we're on the same network. Although, his connection is listed as "Wired" in Dolphin whileon my wii u it's wireless. Do you think that has something to do with it?
