Maybe at some point in the far future. Patching the stand-alone Wiimmfi channel doesn't have a very high priority for us, and you can just use the channel in the game itself.

We wouldn't need to patch "the channel", we would need to add lots of code *to the channel* so that the channel can live-patch the game, which is way more complicated than just patching the channel.
