Good evening, so im making a riivo pack for mario kart wii. I attempted to first just load up main.dol files for every region injected with their respective versions of the codes im using. while testing i found out that no matter what i did the codes just didnt work on different regions. i want to try and patch StaticR.rel with codes since i know it is possible. although when i attempted it with wstrt the output would be "*file not modified". is staticR.rel gct injection not yet possible with wstrt?

No, that's not possible in general, only for very few GCT codes. I don't know if Riivolution can load a DOL file patched with wstrt, but you can also just write a Riivolution XML that applies a code handler and the GCT file to the game.

wstrt can only patch main.dol with GCT codes. Here the limit is about 90000 code lines. If the border of 0x80003000 (about 400 lines) is reached, gecko codes are moved to the end of the heap by a special boot code.
